GESTALT LAWS

Hi!

Block "A" is almost over and my final project was about "Laws of Gestalt". I could not get slides I so will abstract.

VISUAL PERCEPTION
visual perception is a sensation of apparent knowledge, resulting from a stimulus perceived by the eyes.

GESTALT LAWS
This law says our brain organizes perceptions in wholes and this wholes are strategies that can be followed when preparing a message.

PATTERNS AND BACKGROUND
The image is perceived as cuts, we focus on shapes called "patterns" and what remains in the lower level areas we call "background".

LOW OF CLOSURE
Forms that are open or unfinished cause discomfort and there is a tendency to complete it in the imagination.

LAW OF UNGRASPABLE
To that the image is ungraspable should be:
  • Regular
  • Orderly
  • Symmetrical
  • Simple

There are other laws but remember that this is only a abstract.

  1. This was a nice entry and worked well for the blog format which it was presented in.

Would you like to make a SLIDECAST of your presentation? We just need 1 mp3 audio file track for the whole presentation. It is very easy to do using Slideshare.net.

Take a look at my first slidecast I made at
    gringoinloma.blogspot.com.

Let me know if you are interested. I think it will be really cool when it is finished.
